I started working for Turning Point as a Hostess when I was in high school. I was then trained to become a server and barista. I graduated High School and continued working throughout college and graduate school part time. Once I completed my degree I was working in the restaurant and took on more responsibility within the day to day operations. I decided that I wanted to have a career that pertained to my degree and applied for a job in the Turning Point Corporate Office. I was hired and now am the Corporate Office Coordinator and oversee the marketing and social media. I grew up at Turning Point, it has taught me so many skills and broke me out of my shell. I cannot imagine a better team of people to surround myself with. We are a family here and that makes all the difference.

"This is my first job. Everyone was is so nice and it made it easy for me to learn my job. The guests are so nice it doesn’t feel like I ‘m working. I laugh every day and have fun with my co-workers."

"The Turning Point was my first job as a sixteen-year old and I was welcomed into the family with open arms. I started as a hostess in the Brick store, and then traveled to stores across New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Delaware to help serve and host. The employees in each restaurant I worked in were very helpful and thanked me after the shift. In my three years working for the restaurant I have never encountered any issues with the people that I worked with. Although I do not work as much as I used to because of college, I still enjoy coming back to my home store. I have made friends at the restaurant, who I keep in touch with even though some of them have left. Overall, the Turning Point has impacted my life in a positive way."
Makayla M., since May 2017

"After working in the restaurant industry for years, it is extremely nice to work for a company that understands the value of work/life balance. Having just started a family before joining the team, being able to be home every night with them has been amazing. They take great care of their employees and make sure they feel supported and encourage them to grow both as individuals and as team members. If you want to work somewhere that values you as an individual person, and not a cog in "the machine" Turning Point is the place to work!"
